Mark your calendars, folks. Beginning October 3, tune in to KSTU FOX 13 Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. for Salt Lake City’s own reality cooking TV show. And you’ll spot one of our own as the host!
Utah ProStart TEEN CHEF Masters (TCM), presented by the Utah Restaurant Association and directed by Katy Sine, selects 12 teen chef hopefuls from a sea of Utah’s best teen chefs to compete for the title of TCM Champion and to earn a 4-year scholarship to Johnson & Wales University.
The 12 teen chefs will be mentored by three of Utah’s most talented and inspiring chefs: Logen Crew (Current Fish & Oyster), Briar Handly (Handle Restaurant), and Viet Pham (Ember & Ash, Forage, Beer Bar). Every episode features a unique theme, an incredible guest judge appearance, and plenty of heat in the kitchen.
Oh, and yes, Matt Caputo as the host! Matt will dish food knowledge and share tidbits of insight each week as the teen chefs and mentors battle it out in the kitchen.
We can’t wait for the premiere on October 3.
