In America, most canned seafood on grocery shelves is not hand-packed by artisans. So it’s no surprise the convivial spirit surrounding conservas is absent here. Our aim is to offer products to change this. Just as curing fresh meat creates delicacies like salami and prosciutto, TINNED SEAFOOD is not merely about preservation. In some countries, a culture of connoisseurship surrounds the industry, and its creations are to be appreciated RIGHT OUT OF THE CAN, often with friends and libations.
We’re ready for conservas to have their big night out, with knockout wine pairings you’ll see at any tapas bar in Spain or Portugal, and seafood fit for a king.
- Both options will be shipped to arrive a day or two before class. Please keep all cheeses and meats refrigerated until an hour before class begins.
- Pick up is available only on the day of the class at our Downtown store and will be ready by 1pm same day
- We’ll email guests with a link to download our meeting platform a day in advance to give you time to troubleshoot any tech issues.
- Another email will go out the day of the class with the link to join our private virtual classroom.
- Enough for the whole family includes a tin of each item we’ll taste and discuss in the class, plus our favorite aperitivo sauce to boot! As a bonus, Matt Caputo himself has approved a discount on these tins, you’ll be tasting the very best in our stash.
- Note – due to the nature of these products, we’re unable to ship bites for this class. Convince your quarantine buddy to indulge with you, or we’ll teach you how to keep these so they last for weeks after the class.
