Mulate is an exploration in creativity. All the bars include clarified butter, even the “dark” bars! These guys care nothing for convention. The packaging is full of elements that current trends would advise against: strange looking animals, foreboding signs of danger, loud colors, high gloss, gold trim, etc.; and yet, it works. So different from other chocolates on the shelf, it literally jumps off the shelf into consumers’ hands. The Tahini bar is pure textural genius: crackly, crunchy, rich, fudgy with a silky smooth melt. And the flavors? Did we mention Tahini and clarified butter? If you’re not enticed yet by the worlds, or maybe we should say the “alternate dimensions,” of flavor in each bar, we don’t know how to help you.
