The water buffalos from Laverstoke Park Farm are descendants of Asian Buffalo from India and Pakistan. They are called water buffalo because they inhabit wet, swampy areas. They produce less milk than cows, but it is richer in quality with a vibrant white hue, perfectly suited for cheese making and ice cream.
