Made from the government protected dessert wine made in the area of Banyuls-sur-mer near the Mediterranean sea, this 5 year barrel aged vinegar offers the same intriguing flavors as the wine it is made from. Notes of licorice, coffee, orange peel, and vanilla remain present in the vinegar because of the oak casks it is aged in. Ideal mixed with nut oils. Use to deglaze rich, French dishes like foie gras and duck.
