Tasting notes: Cafe-latte, Chocolaty, Roasted peanut
A single-origin chocolate from the Oko-Caribe fermentary in Dominican Republic sourced by their partner, Uncommon Cacao. This is their go-to chocolate when we want that deep, warm chocolatey flavour.
You will find peanuty, cafe-latte character with a light acidity and hint of sweetness at the end. If you like classic chocolate flavor, you’ll enjoy this a lot.
Ingredients: Organic cacao beans (72%), cane sugar
Details: Located near the city of San Francisco de Macoris in the Cibao region of the Dominican Republic, Oko Caribe collects wet beans from smallholder farmers and ferments them in four-tier boxes over 6 days before drying using a 2-step process.
