São Tomé and Príncipe is located on the western equatorial coast of Africa. The former Portuguese colony, the country has a terrible cast of slavery. Now one of the most stable democracies in Africa, São Tomé has some of the most unique soil and climate conditions for cacao, but remains extremely poor.

Satocao was established in 2015 as a certified organic co-op of over 400 farmers from seven communities. Letterpress was able to secure a very small amount of the very best beans they sampled to create a unique blend for this limited edition!
