Madecasse was started by a group of peace corps workers in Madagascar. The group fell in love with the people and discovered some of the finest cacao available. Now, Madecasse produces chocolate and vanilla on the island (most companies buy raw materials from these regions and produce elsewhere). The reuslting products are better tasting terroir-centric bars that satisfy our tastes but also provide a better life for those who make it. Acidic and reminiscent of dark berries, you’ll find the quintessential flavors of Madagascar are expressed in each of these bars. 63% chocolate is dusted with crunchy cacao nibs and sea salt to intensify the complexity of the chocolate.
