Wine Farming
Wine Series
Downtown, 07:30

1st century Roman naturalist Pliny the Elder said the moon “replenishes the earth; when she approaches it, she fills all bodies, while, when she recedes, she empties them.”

People have looked to the moon and stars for millennia for farming guidance. Even the ancient romans knew that the moon affected the tides and influenced our behavior in unknown ways. (See also werewolf movies) Biodynamic farming formalized this ancient approach and wine farmers around the world adopted this quickly as a way to replenish the tired poisoned soils left behind by factory farms. We all know better farming makes better wine, which is what makes this class so fascinating. This class features a series of side by side tastings comparing huge commercially farmed wines versus those from more careful conscientious farming — same varieties and blends same price points. The results will astound!

Class begins at 7:30pm MOUNTAIN TIME

Please note: All cancellations require 48 hours notice. Food and wine are purchased and prepared in advance and cannot be re-purposed.
