The Kahalu’u valley rests in the shadow of the steep Ko’olau mountain range and is cradled by the shallow waters of Kane’ohe bay. This lush land is ideal for year round diving, fishing, and farming. Born and raised, Ben Field is proud to provide cacao for this bar from his 800 trees planted in the verdant soil. Intercropped with banana, turmeric, taro, breadfruit, and so many more, this cacao forest is a thriving example of what agroforestry done right can achieve.
