After years of hard work, Salt Lake’s own Kevin Finch is back in his home town. We’re thrilled to announce our cooking class partnership. Consider this your opportunity to learn from one of SLC’s most celebrated and respected talents. You can expect to learn mind blowing techniques, advice from years of professional experience, and a host of laughs and wine along the way.

Sit back and enjoy a cooking demonstration of three dishes prepared by Chef Kevin along with cheese and charcuterie from your favorite Caputo’s mongers paired with wines selected by Francis Fecteau. You’ll leave full, inspired, and armed with recipes to try at home.

Kevin is from Salt Lake City, Utah, and started his cooking career as a means to fuel his love for snowboarding. Following his high school graduation, Kevin began traveling and working seasonally until he landed in New York City working for acclaimed restaurants, including Betony and Maialino. After departing NYC Kevin spent some time in Scandinavia, including an internship at well acclaimed Maaemo. Kevin moved west to accept the position of Sous Chef at Atelier Crenn, Chef Dominique Crenn’s flagship restaurant in San Francisco, California, being promoted to Chef de Cuisine in the first 6 months. During this time, the restaurant was awarded three Michelin stars and received a four-star review by the San Francisco Chronicle. Shortly after his departure, Kevin had the opportunity to move to Shenzhen, China to open Ensue by Christopher Kostow. Prior to the restaurant’s opening, he spent a few months with the team at The Restaurant at Meadowood working on research and development. While living in China, Kevin spent a bit of time traveling through Asia, learning about local ingredients, cuisine, and culture. Now, you can find Kevin in his hometown or traveling still to major cities including Paris, NYC, San Francisco, Omaha, Shenzhen, and Bangkok — utilizing his knowledge, creativity, and passion for the West in his pop-up series and soon to be brick and mortar: ARTHUR.
