Description
Tried and true, nuts and chocolate are surefire pleasure for the palate. Look past the humble peanut with these two unique bites.
This chocolate experience highlights two different varieties of nuts from the South American rainforest. Each represent ancestral foodways in this part of the world, and all of them are considered superfoods – rich with Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids and other nutrients. They are also native to some of the most biodiverse and threatened ecosystems on the planet. One of these nuts – the Macambo seed – comes from a Theobroma, a tree species in the cacao family.
