Between the coastal mountains of Venezuela and the Caribbean lies the coastal village of Ocumare, Protected from the outside world with a steep coastal mountain range home to many rare and exotic birds and animals, and harbored alongside clear, turquoise water. Since the 1700’s, Ocumare has been famous for its flavorful criollo cocoa beans. To create this milk chocolate, I hand selected the best cocoa from this region.
