Pineapple Clove made its debut June 2022 as part of our recurring seasonal flavors. It was first introduced, however, as part of the Bitters Lab Club™ in 2019.

Cloves come from the buds of the clove evergreen tree, the flavor is pungent with a distinct and undeniable warmth, they have a very intense flavor and aroma. On the tongue, you'll detect bitterness and astringency the Pineapple balances the intensity of the cloves by providing sweet, citrusy, and tart notes.

This flavor is seasonal and available every summer from June - September or until it sells out.

Suggested Uses:

Drinks: Vodka, rum, tequila, whiskey, tea, champagne, eggnog, sangria, mulled wine, and definitely anything tiki or tropical.

Food: In baking, pair with warm autumn flavors and refreshing citrus, like nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon & grapefruit. In cooking, try in savory Indian, Mexican or Peruvian dishes, béchamel sauce or the classic, baked ham with pineapple -this flavor is also great for marinating.

made from: alcohol (neutral grain spirit), fresh & dried pineapple, filtered water, cloves, herbs & spices.
