Drawing inspiration from the goddess of love and desire, Aphrodite Bitters is filled with ingredients containing the qualities of aphrodisiacs. Chocolate, red chili, cacao nibs, ginger roots, Arabica coffee, and even ginseng are present in this concoction that is a true labor of love.

This complex example of experimental bitters was released in 2011, and packs one heck of a punch. Creamy throughout, spicy at points, and toasty, it will get anybody feeling a little fuzzy inside.

Created by Adam Elmegirab in 2009 in Aberdeen Scotland, Dr. Adam Elmegirab's Bitters is a love song to the bitters concoctions of yester centuries. Using  Jerry Thomas' book How to Mix Drinks or The Bon Vivant's Companion, published in 1862, as his guidepost, the good doctor steeps and ages botanical mixtures in over-proof spirits for two weeks. This process produces a beautiful, hand-crafted cocktail bitter of the highest grade.
