A beautiful blend of acid and fat, Fangt’s marinated mussels are meaty and moist and perfectly balanced.

Long before this tin’s development, these mussels were famous the world over. Grown in the cold fjords of Denmark, most are shipped fresh overseas but Fangst decided to keep them local and while doing so uplift time-honored regional flavors like apple cider vinegar, fennel and dill. They sing perfectly on key with little more than a potato chip, but we also recommend using them to make Harrison Weinfeld’s shaved fennel salad.

TASTING: bright, briny, rich, meaty
PAIRING: dark beer, swiss cheese, fried potatoes
CAUGHT IN: Denmark

INGREDIENTS: Blue Mussels, Cold-Pressed Rapeseed Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Dill Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Salt
