Something special happens in the early morning hours when all is still, the sun has yet to fully rise, and the cold Nantucket Sound waters and warm summer air meet, creating a soft fog which hangs low in the air.  The coolness of the fog envelopes you, and the white stillness allows you to focus your other senses.  When you breathe in, the moisture tickles your nose and transmits the gentle perfume of salty sweet ocean air, dune beach grass, sun-cooked and matted pine needles in the sand, and the bushes of beach rose flowers awakening to feed the bumblebees. Goodnow Farms created this chocolate bar to evoke this sublime experience.
