Craft & Origin
The So Co La Edition is a series of six bars, each tied to a Maison Marou cafe location and an ingredient specific to that city. The Hanoi bar draws its inclusion from the Red River Delta, Vietnam’s second-largest rice-growing region, with over 160,000 hectares under cultivation. The cacao is a blend of Vietnamese single-origin beans sourced from southern provinces where Marou has worked directly with farming communities since the company’s founding in 2011. The two are connected by geography and intention, if not the same soil.
Flavor & Texture
Notes of dark fruit and earthy cacao. The texture is smooth with a distinct dry crunch from the caramelized popped rice.
