Since 2013, Ritual has been sourcing their Belize origin cacao from Maya Mountain Cacao, who sources certified organic wet cacao from over 400 smallholder farming families from around southern Belize. By taking over the post-harvest cacao processing, MMC ensures farmers with convenience, market stability, fair wages and more time to focus on growing yields.
