The first bar made from Bolivian cacao beans from Impulsa Bacao. Reminiscent of smores, this dark chocolate tastes of toasted marshmallows, graham crackers and honey.
Impulsa Bacao was created to have a positive social and environmental impact on Colombian farmers by switching their cultivation practices from coca to fine cacao. They have instilled hope in the farmers for the great possibility of cacao as a cash crop to rely on by sharing techniques, facilitating financing and post-harvest processes. The farmers Impulsa Bacao works with have begun to dedicate themselves to improving their varieties and yields producing fine Colombian chocolate.
